A Sapphic ritual of pleasure, a slow intoxication.

The Nectar invites audiences into a stylized world where desire is unhidden and the body reclaims center stage. Rooted in the shadowed glamour of 1930s Berlin Cabaret and infused with modern-day San Francisco nightlife culture, the production combines dance, live vocals, clown performance, and burlesque into a sensual theatrical experience.

The performance draws inspiration from classic Broadway Cabaret with Bob Fosse-inspired choreography and cultural touchpoints, including ABBA, Tom Waits  and Madonna’s Erotica.

Featuring a Sapphic ensemble, the show navigates themes of slowing down and sensing the erotic as a channel towards connection and collective liberation. Set within an immersive environment, The Nectar situates audiences inside a reimagined cabaret where ritual and spectacle intersect and includes local musicians and vendors offering sex-positive goods and non-alcoholic elixirs.

We want your body to ooze with desire. As we entertain you with our clever ways, we invite your body to get activated with the Nectar of lusciousness.
